- This won’t work for those on higher PS4 firmware like 7.02
- If you’re on higher firmware, sorry your PS4 can’t be hacked. Please, don’t try this PS4 jailbreak exploit.
PS4 6.72 Jailbreak Exploit
This PS4 exploit has two steps: First is the actual jailbreak (JB) step while the second step is the Mira+HEN (MIRA).
To run homebrew software on the PS4, you need to activate JB (Jailbreak) first, and then MIRA+HEN. Remember, JB first then MIRA. So turn on your PS4 and do the following steps.
Visit the Jailbreak link below. In about 20 seconds you’ll get an alert saying “You’re all set!”, followed by “There is not enough free system memory”. This means that everything has gone well.
If something goes wrong during the jailbreak process, you will get an alert saying “Jailbreak failed! Reboot your PS4 and try again.”. You must reboot your PS4, preferably without closing the dialogue box.
If the PS4 system hangs for more than a minute (may take more time because of slow Internet connections), reboot your PS4 and try again.
If the system crashes (looks like an instant power down), press the power button on the PS4 (NOT on the gamepad) until it turns on again, then try again.
After you click OK on “There is not enough free system memory” and the page reloads, click on the link that says MIRA. This will activate Mira+HEN to unlock the “Debug Settings” menu.
In about 20 seconds you’ll get an alert saying “You’re all set!”, followed by “There is not enough free system memory”. This means that everything has gone well. Congratulations!
If the system hangs or crashes, try step 1 again.
For advanced users: To load your own payloads using NetCat, run first JB then NETCAT and send the payload to TCP port 9020.
